NOCTEX warranties the Zero Digital Ballast to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 3 years. Noctex’s obligation in any warranty service performed (valid from the day of purchase of the end-user) is limited to replacing or repairing, at Noctex’s discretion, the Ballast or parts determined by Noctex to be defective in materials or workmanship, during the warranty period. If the original Ballast has been superseded, replacement may be made with a current model of the same quality and equivalent function. Warranty of any replacement parts is limited to 90 days or the unexpired portion of the warranty period of the Ballast on which the parts are being used, whichever is longer. Additional parts may be purchased upon request. Outside of the warranty period, repair service can still be done upon request at Noctex’s discretion, but parts, labour and shipping charges will apply. This warranty does not cover any defects or costs caused by:
- modification, alteration, repair or service of this Ballast by anyone other than Resellers authorized by Noctex to perform repair services;
- physical abuse to, overload of, or misuse of, the Ballast or operation thereof in a manner contrary to the instructions accompanying the Ballast;
- any use of the Ballast other than that for which it was designed;
- shipment of the Ballast to Noctex for service;
- failure to comply with care and maintenance instructions accompanying the Ballast.
Warranty will be voided if any identification or serial number is removed or tampered with, or if any unauthorized modification is detected.
To obtain warranty service, the purchaser should contact an authorized Reseller and have the following information available:
- Proof of purchase (invoice or original receipt of purchase or serial number)
- Model number
- Description of the problem
The purchaser must return the Ballast or the defective part(s) to an authorized Reseller, carefully packed in its original packaging and include proof of purchase (original receipt of purchase, serial number of the Ballast, etc.) and a note describing the problem(s). Authorized Reseller is to test each unit, ensure the validity of defect, before replacing it over-the-counter for the customer with Reseller’s current inventory. Authorized Reseller shall contact Noctex for an RMA number, and send back the defective unit in its appropriate packaging to Noctex’s specified facility for service. All defective item(s) will be repaired or replaced at Noctex’s sole discretion within the terms and limits of the manufacturer’s warranty. Noctex will ship out the corresponding number of replacement units on Reseller’s next order. All shipping expenses, losses or damages incurred to Reseller or end-user as a result of shipping defective item(s) or part(s) to Noctex, shall be the responsibility of Reseller/end-user. Noctex is responsible for the shipping charges, losses, and damages incurred in shipping any replacement to Reseller/end-user. Freight collect will be refused.
Over-the-counter repair service may be available at Reseller’s discretion. Noctex will supply Reseller with parts at Reseller’s request.
ONLINE STORE RETURN POLICY
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 15 days of delivery date to arrange exchange or refund of your unused item(s). Please have your invoice ready as proof of purchase for all product warranties. The item must be in original packaging when being returned. You may return items to our warehouse location by mail in US or Canada, for an exchange or refund within 15 days of reception.
Noctex will not assume transport charges for any items returned unless specifically agreed upon beforehand for products purchased online or by phone.
